Bank statements
How do you get a bank statement PDF into Excel or QuickBooks?
We extract every transaction from the PDF so nobody types them in, then export Excel, CSV or import files laid out for your accounting software. Some banks will not connect to your accounting software, and some clients only have paper or PDF statements.
PDF bank statement converter
Reads date, description, amount and running balance from digital and scanned statements, including multi-page and multi-account files.
Totals that must add up
Opening balance plus transactions must equal the closing balance. If rows are missing or misread, the file is flagged instead of quietly dropping lines.
Excel, CSV and import files
Output matches the column layout your accounting software expects, so the file imports without cleanup.
A person on the doubtful lines
Low-confidence characters and dates go to a reviewer first, so the file you import is one you can trust.
Receipts and invoices
How is receipt data entry handled for you?
Shoeboxes, phone photos and email attachments become structured entries: vendor, date, tax and total. Each receipt is then tied to the bank or card transaction it belongs to, and the ones with no match are listed.
Scanned and photographed receipts
Handles crumpled, skewed and low-light photos, plus receipts forwarded by email.
Vendor, date, tax and total
Pulls the fields you code against and keeps the original image attached to each entry.
Receipts matched to bank lines
Ties each receipt to the bank or card transaction it belongs to and lists the ones with no match.
Vendor invoice data extraction
Supplier, invoice number, date, tax and line items for accounts payable.
Client documents
How do you collect documents from clients?
We track what each client owes you and check what arrives. Month-end stalls while you wait for statements and receipts.
Document request lists per client
Define what each client must send each month, such as statements, payroll reports and receipts.
Email, upload and photo intake
Files arrive however clients send them and are sorted by type automatically.
Missing and incomplete checks
Flags a missing page, a wrong month or an unreadable file, so you chase once instead of three times.
What is still outstanding
One list of open items across clients before you start the close.
Common questions
Before you send a sample
Which accounting software can this work with?
We produce Excel and CSV files laid out for import into tools such as QuickBooks and Xero, and can integrate through their APIs where that is worth it for your volume.
What if a statement is a poor scan?
Characters the system is unsure about are marked and sent to a reviewer. The statement totals check also catches rows that were missed.
Do you replace tools like Dext or Hubdoc?
They suit simple, high-volume receipt capture. We are a fit when you need custom checks, unusual document types or your own review rules.
